rocked with style

The second annual Rocked at The Nines bridal show thrown by Portland Bride & Groom Magazine took place this past weekend. At this couture bridal show, attendees are treated to a host of wedding inspirations from the city's best vendors. For this year's show, we worked with Bridal Bliss, Blissfully Sweet, Peter Corvallis Productions, Crave Design and Artisan Cake Company to create a stunning and unique black and white affair. The room also featured shades of amethyst, lilac, purple and violet, playing on the oh-so-popular ombre effect. Using fun patterns and textures, and a crisp and clean monochromatic palette, we could not have been more excited to be part of such a one-of-a-kind event!

Tables featured white linens with printed runners and napkins, silver braided chargers, sparkling mercury glass and floating candles. Centerpieces were both high and low, combining amethyst and purpley hued roses, phalaenopsis orchids, cattelaya orchids and vanda orchids.

One of our favorite elements to design was this fresh floral ceremony backdrop, featuring hundreds of carnations arranged in a chic chevron and hung in a large picture frame.

At the far end of our room, we adorned the bar and lounge area with some hip, fresh carnation lampshades.

Our friends from Blissfully Sweet and Artisan Cake Company put together a lavish, purple dessert display complete with an absolutely stunning cake covered in custom made, edible ombre jewels.
